Test Ground is an ongoing project where a member of 4 Walls exhibits their work  for discussion and is critiqued by the rest of the group and a guest speaker.  This will also be open to the public to participate in, or to simply watch the discussion.  Each discussion will be recorded and be available on this page.  A member of 4 Walls will also write or make something in response to the work or discussion.

This is part of 4 Walls, which is a project and community of 'pre-emerging' artists, where we aim to support ourselves and others at a point in careers when we are post education and still eager to participate in self directed group projects.

We want to create a group which stimulates and motivates; where we are pushing ourselves to articulate both our work and our thoughts.

The third Test Ground took place on the 6th November,  at HEIMATMUSEUM when 4 Walls artists discussed Ingrid Sanfey's solo show, In significant lives.

For more details of Ingrid's show, please see News

The second Test Ground took place on the 8th May 2010 at Schwartz Gallery, Hackney Wick when Kit Merritt presented new work....photos to come soon......!

The first Test Ground was on the 15th January 2010 when Marie Smith presented her work at Space Station Festival, Brixton.  The discussion took place with guest artist, Victor Mavedzenge.
